Noise and Vibration Laboratory of Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully designs underwater vortex-wave acoustic metasurface

近日,中科院噪声与振动重点实验室的研究人员利用五模材料超流体设计了一个水下涡旋波声学超表面。该系统能够分离不同阶数的涡旋波,当信号通过超表面时,平面波会被转换成负一阶涡旋波,而涡旋波则被转换为平面波。在超表面前后分别放置两个探针,利用涡旋波中心声场为零的优势,可以分别读取Ch1和Ch2的声场信息,从而实现水下涡旋波复路通信,为扩大水下通信的信息容量并提高传输效率奠定了可行性。
